The Xiamen Haicang Half Marathon was founded in 2016 and is a sports event hosted by the Xiamen Municipal People’s Government.
In 2017, it was awarded a bronze medal by the Chinese Athletics Association, a gold medal in 2019, and the title of “World Athletics Federation Label Event” in 2024.
