Guangzhou Tiansheng Experimental Conghua School is located in the Diecui Mountain Forest of Conghua District, Guangzhou City.
It was designed by the Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology, with Academician He Jingtang and Pan Yudan as the main architects.
It will be completed in 2025.
The core concept of the project is “Floating School in the Forest”, proposing four principles of “Forest, Sharing, Vitality, and Organic”.
Through the use of large-scale elevated floors, wind and rain corridors, and observation platforms, the building volume is weakened, and the original mountainous terrain is maximally preserved, making the school buildings seem to be suspended above the forest.
