At 6:30 am on May 11th, the dawn in Rongchang, Chongqing had not completely dissipated the night, and the starting gunshots of a half marathon had already pierced the sky.
This gunshot not only marked the beginning of the race, but also sounded like a thunderbolt, awakening the long held mindset of domestic marathon events – the Rongchang Half Marathon became the first large-scale event in the country to advance the starting time to 6:30.
