This year’s marathon route was measured by Yan Juntao, an A-level surveyor of the World Association of Athletics Federations and a senior track measurement expert of the Chinese Athletics Association.
The route passes through all seven urban areas in the city center.
The athletes will continue to start from the Jinsha Site Museum and run through city landmarks such as Kuanzhai Alley, Chunxi Road, Tianfu Panda Tower, Wangjianglou Park, Xinhua Park, Tianfu International Financial Center, China Europe Center, and Global Center.
The half marathon endpoint is the Sichuan University Museum, and the marathon endpoint is the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center.
