The Qingdao Marathon was founded in 2017 and has been upgraded to the World Athletics Classic this year.
The event starts from May Fourth Square and passes through many Qingdao landmarks such as Zhongshan Park, Huiquan Square, Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, and Qingdao International Convention Center, attracting many runners to participate every year.
